Idk dude, 30$an hour, under the table, preferably via btc sounds pretty good as a small supplemental income source. I guess if you are a long time php dev then that is basically nothing. I am a pretty good programmer but I don't know php, but someone like myself COULD learn it and 30$ an hour for an beginner is mint. + you are getting payed to grow your skillz.

It doesn't matter the price - it's not real employment, so all the
"d00d I'll totally teh pay j00" money in the world (and $30/hr is on
the lower end of average for a programming job in the US according to
mai g00gles) won't persuade anyone who is actually worth a damn

Liek I said - if you're lucky, the owner of the site (or their trusty
friend who shares a passion for their project) will know how to prog-
ram, but otherwise there are NO programmers just wandering around and
are willing to work on sites like this. This isn't something new - it's
been this way forevar!

I wasn't implying kaguya-san is insane, as he's not a programmer! It's
the amateur "too retarded/mentally unstable to get a real programming
job" guys who are teh crazy - they're always 5 minutes away from having
a meltdown and burning the entire site to the ground cuz they can't han-
dle the pressure or they think they've been wronged in some way (;´Д`)

Did you see the last line?

There's no reason for a serious programmer to accept a dubious inter-
net "job" when they can easily get a real one (with all the benefits
that come with those). Sites like this have only ever had volunteers
who do it because they love the site/community, not because they're
getting paid (;´Д`)

Unless the owner or highly passionate user of the site (one who can
tolerate the owner and be tolerated in return) is a programmer and
totally willing to "do it for free" purely for the cause, you are shit
out of luck - and even in those rare cases, it's even more rare for
the owner/volunteers to actually be any good and to not be a liability
with several screws loose (;´Д`)

The situation with php developers never ended. Since the beggining of heyuri
"php devs" has always been an issue. They are like fucking gold or something.
To this day I am still in constant search of them and I never find them
