i tried getting the Mona font working on Linux for hours, but after
around an hour i gave up. a few hours later i come back and check the 
lounge, and now it's magically working??? ┐(゚~゚)┌

regardless, i'm glad to have the full experience now ヽ(´ー`)ノ

it wasn't that!!! i wiped fc-cache over a dozen times...
specifically it was rendering that weird way mona/ms p gothic do when
you zoom in a lot. i kept trying to screw around with font config
settings to fix it, but nothing seemed to work besides leaving it alone
for a while. ┐(゚~゚)┌
