I only have my post from last year saved answering teh question "What 
is a solid version of fruity loops?". Here's teh TL;DR of that post 
(but with FL20 updated to FL21):

　　FL8 for "classic" FL and pattern blocks, FL11 for "modern" FL but 
　　with less complexity, FL21 for modern FL but with moar complexity 
　　and better features for audio recording"

What version r u after? Rutracker has seeded torrents for FL6 thru FL21
