How come there are people who spend so much time insisting that women are just as good or even better physically than men?

I can list off the top of my head loads of weaknesses that hold women back:
-Shorter stature 
-Less muscle mass  
-Less upper body strength 
-Periods which debuff them for at least a week 
-Poorly streamlined bodies(boobs and stuff. imagine a world where the sports bra didn't exist. You wouldnt see many women out running)
-Chance of pregnancy which could debuff them for almost a year 

It goes on and on...
The only physical feat women really excel at over men is handling childbirth, and it seems like that's just down to the fact that it's physically impossible for men to give birth （⌒∇⌒ゞ）

I read somewhere that while women aren't 'physically stronger' in the usual sense they are somehow 'more robust'.

Apparently, whilst in the womb, the placenta behaves differently depending on the baby's sex. Female children end up getting better protection against diseases and such,(enough that male newborns are 10% more likely to die after childbirth), and this remains with them thruout their lives. It all adds up, which is why women deal with colds better, face hypertension later in life and eventually outlive men by 5 or 6 years.

I think women get a boost liek that because they have to be healthy in order to successfully carry a baby, and then it ends up serving them thru lief.ヽ(´∇`)ノ

Or maybe it has to do with the Y chromosome. I read somewhere that children are all female in the very early stages of   womb development, and some turn male after hormonal changes. Maybe guys get held out on for nutrients cause the body sees us as mutants.(;´Д`)(;´Д`)
