If people spell "Baja" like "Ba-ha",
then why they don't spell "Benjamin" like "Ben-ha-min"?

I don't know what Baja/Ba-ha is, so I assume it's not English. Some
languages pronounce "j" like the English "h", and others pronounce it
like the English "y", so it depends on the origin of the word

It's Spanish my dude. Baja is a region of Mexico. It literally means "Low" in English. Thanks Google translate!
