I had to show someone something on my laptop today, and they
touched my screen thinking it was a touch-screen (;´Д`)

It took a long time for me to explain that my monitor is not a touch
screen to my young relatives (;´Д`)

I think they eventually got it, but they still think the monitor is the
computer and they call it a "laptop" (;´Д`)

lolwut. Are touchscreen computers so ubiquitous in the West already? I never used any till I got to college recently. I'm still trying to get used to them.(´人`)

They were born in the mid 2010s (2014 at oldest) - touchscreen phones
have been ubiquitous since around 2010, tablets since 2012-2013, plus
     they have a Nintendo Switch

It's the non-touchscreen displays that are the anomoly to them (;´Д`)
