　││Back in the 2018-2019 days, the virtual youtuber scene was an amazing 
　││thing to behold. At that time, it was a Japanese-only phenomenon and 
　││it was very niche as there was no money to be made (because everyone 
　││outside of the niche thought it was teh lame), so everyone involved was 
　││basically just doing it for fun, to make new friends, or simply cuz the 
　││technology was k00l. It was beautiful...

　││...but then "agencies" started cropping up, and one particular agency 
　││of fail started making "meme" videos on Twitter and collaborating with 
　││a crappy Chinese mobile gacha game, and suddenly all the Twitchfags, 
　││Redditors, and nu-4chan morons of the world found out about it. They 
　││misinterpreted the whole thing as some shitty idolfaggotry popularity 
　││contest, and now the one group who was (rightfully) unpopular due to 
　││their lame idol gimmick has inspired a new generation of virtual fuck-
　││tards to run the entire thing into the fucking ground and shit all over 
　││what was once a wonderful and creative hobbyist scene (;´Д`)

　││These faggots sullied the very concept of virtual youtubers, and inspir-
　││ed a whole legion of haters to think it's all just "Twitch whores" and 
　││"s*mping" - and the sad thing is that this would go on to be a self-
　││fulfilling prophecy (;´Д`)

　││So unless you're firmly in the "doing it for fun" or "because the tech-
　││nology is cool" camps rather than the "maek moneez" and "banking off a 
　││trend" camps, I don't support your sudden interest in something you 
　││previously expressed vehement hatred for (;´Д`)

　│　│western vtubers sucked but these ones are mostly portuguese and russian

　│　│and of course im primarily motivated by money, i havent done anything
　│　│to make myself some money in a while. been paying out of pocket for all
　│　│these projects. But it can also be fun
