There's something very ironic about how I can fap to gore and CP without
any guilt, but get down in the dumps for hours when someone criticizes
my writing or art...( ´,_ゝ`)

I wouldn't say it's ironic, it appears you just have 0% empathy - only
generating an emotional response to things that affect or target you
personally ヽ(´ー`)ノ

If that concerns you at all, you could try imagining yourself or people
you care about being put in those situations, and how you might feel
about it. Then you could adopt a "if I don't want it done to me or
people I care about, I won't want it done to others" philosophy, which
is something that keeps a lot of people from doing terrible things to
each other ヽ(´ー`)ノ

Conversely, try recognizing that most opinions from other people have no
real impact on you or value over yours, so there's no reason to take
random critique seriously or to heart. Of course, if it comes from
someone you know and respect, there's a higher chance of there being
some validity and truth to it, at which point it would be wise to take
it into consideration ヽ(´ー`)ノ

Fapping makes harm to no one. You shouldn't feel any guilt for that at all.

As for being emotional towards criticism, means you care about what strangers are saying and you should reconsider your empathy.
