Another funny tidbit of early '90s muzak is that there was apparently an artist called 'Cece Peniston' (´人`)

Adding onto your point about the 80s spilling into the 90s, she took
her name and the basis of that track from CeCe Rogers - Someday,
released in 1987 and produced by house music pioneer Marshall Jefferson

There was also a big hardcore tune from 91-92 that sampled it, Liquid
- Sweet Harmony

Great box art on that CeCe Rogers record. I love that sharp and impressionistic linework and geometric look that was popular thru the '80s. But I've never been able to find the names of any of the artists (;´Д`)(;´Д`)

That was just Atlantic's generic 12" single sleeve at that time, but
yeah there was a lot of great design around at that time ヽ(´ー`)ノ
