There's already several sites like that: https://allchans.org https://imageboards.net http://chanverse.uwu.mx https://bvffalo.land Which are mostly based on these lists: https://github.com/ccd0/imageboards.json https://gitgud.io/iblist/imageboards.json https://gitgud.io/iblist/textboards.json The problem with these lists is that there's very little quality control or real research involved - there's a lot of sites that shouldn't be there (either cuz they're dead/spam-filled, or they're just sum random business's guestbook/announcement board) as well as some glaring omissions that make you think they just googled "imgboard.php", "joyful.cgi", etc. and added anything that looked vaguely "chan-like" instead of actually researching and lurking (;´Д`) That's why I felt compelled to make and maintain Japanese BBS Direct- ory - so non-Japanese netizens can get a truer sense of what the wonderful world of 日本の掲示板 has to offer, and will hopefully be inspired to make more than yet-another-crappy-4chan/2ch-clone ヽ(´ー｀)ノ Reference: 2022/11/04(Fri) 17:29:33
