Well, like most things these days... Second, the problem isn't just about having to use extra power. Getting my brain to send electricity even for minor things like lifting my pinky finger up... Imagine how much power user fuckery you could do with that (´┐`) mmmmmmmm... Never tried eye tracking myself, though I'd wager that it's too finicky right now and that it wont really improve that much in the long run aswell. Though, slightly on topic, I've heard there is this AR contact lens thing in development that would allegedly have real good eye tracking.
