If I made a post every time I checked all the boards for new posts/
replies, 95% of Heyuri would just be me posting to myself (;´Д`)

I already make up about 35-50% of the posts, and when it comes to teh
OC... well, let's just say it's very rare that I get to enjoy new OC,
and I'm very burned out (;´Д`)

What makes yuo like Heyuri so much? Don't get me wrong, I like it as well but I am curious
why do you dedicate yourself on this small site instead of one of the other over 9000 imageboards
which are usually more active than Heyuri.

For most of the past 15 years, other imageboards have been more about
seeing who can be the grouchiest asshole, the most disruptive troll,
and the biggest cockblock to all things fun and awesome. I had a choice
between hanging out with users my age and older who just want to be mis-
erable joy-hating faggots all the time, users below my age who just
don't "get it" and probably never will, and users of ??? age who just
want to watch the world burn (;´Д`)

But despite the relatively small userbase, there's this underlying un-
written agreement between Heyuri users that this place is for having a
good time, making each other laugh, enjoying niche otaku material,
celebrating the internet of old, and all while sharing a specific style
of "off-color but ultimately frivolous" humor that is largely absent
from the rest of today's internet ヽ(´ー`)ノ

Heyuri is like a digital sanctuary that allows us to relive a few asp-
ects of the internet's "glory days" that I had dearly missed, as well
as providing me with a long-awaited creative outlet after the above
mentioned assholes had destroyed everywhere else

So even though it's slowly killing me to keep burning myself out by
making stuff for you guys, and there's been a constant struggle to hold
myself back from screaming "MAEK MOAR OC URSELVES YOU GODDAMN LAZY
NIGRAS!!!11 IT'S FUN MAKING RETARDED CRAP WITH PHOTOSHOP, JUST FREAKING
DO IT!!!!!!11111!1!!1one11!1", I am still passionate and devoted to
this place known as Heyuri - the place to be ヽ(´ー`)ノ
