　■Does anyone have further info on this plan to 
　│increase the age of consent in Japan? I swear every day 
　│things keep getting Westernized. First the AV law neutering
　│the industry, now this （ ´,_ゝ`）This feels like one of 
　│the only places I can express my feelings on the matter..

　├■Well, they did low the age of adulthood from 20 to 18 so i  would not be surprised  if this happens.

　└■I don't have any details, but I saw a few headlines and threads about 
　　　the age of consent possibly moving up to 16. While it was technically 
　　　13 before, I think every prefecture already had local laws that made 
　　　it between 16-18 anyway, so I'm not sure how much has really changed

　　　On the other hand, I believe the age of adulthood (and thus the age 
　　　you have to be to appear in AV) was recently reduced from 20 to 18. 
　　　I'm not aware of any neutering that may have taken place...
