Am I the only one who hates 'Internet Journalist' type writing, and how tonally inconsistent it is? You know, they'll write in some 'conversational' teenage girl dialect, something like: "so it was all for nothing but like four guys buying boats, and THIS IS WHY WE CAN'T HAVE NICE THINGS EVER." And then a few lines later it will morph into some jargon-filled fulmination along the lines of: "I am sanguine about it. The ebb and flow of the social media life cycle. The inevitability of exodus. The inexorable headlong entropic rush toward the heat-death of anything good on the internet." Real article by the way: https://catvalente.substack.com/p/stop-talking-to-each-other-and-start
