Am I the only one who hates 'Internet Journalist' type writing, and how
tonally inconsistent it is? You know, they'll write in some
'conversational' teenage girl dialect, something like: "so it was all
for nothing but like four guys buying boats, and THIS IS WHY WE CAN'T
HAVE NICE THINGS EVER."
And then a few lines later it will morph into some jargon-filled
fulmination along the lines of: "I am sanguine about it. The ebb and
flow of the social media life cycle. The inevitability of exodus. The
inexorable headlong entropic rush toward the heat-death of anything good
on the internet."
