> It's probably ookami and not okami. Maybe another case of matari? (´人`) There are several standards for romanizing Japanese - Hepburn is what we typically use in the West, but the Western anime fandom tends to use the Waapuro variant of Hepburn cuz it's easier to type ヽ(´ー`)ノ In regular Hepburn you put a little dash over long vowels like "ōkami", but in Waapuro you use an extra vowel instead ("ookami") There's exceptions for words that have been adopted into English, like place names - Tokyo for example is typically written as such, but it would technically be Tōkyō in Hepburn and Toukyou in Waapuro Hepburn However, long consonants like in まったり (mattari) are virtually always represented as double consonants Reference: 2023/03/05(Sun) 01:08:19

Was wildly popular in Europe between the mid-90s and early 2000s - you'd hear it on mainstream radio stations daily ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Hardcore is a little more difficult to define since it refers to differ- ent things in different places and at different times, but it's general- ly a fast-paced form of Techno that originated in the early 90s In the UK circa the early 90s specifically, it commonly consisted of Techno beats & synths combined with Hip-hop style breakbeats & samples, largely due to how House, Techno, Hip-hop, and Rare Groove (old under- ground American funk records from the late 60s and 70s) was often all played at the same events by the same DJs in the mid-to-late 80s The rave scene split in 1994 caused the breakbeats, reggae sounds, and darker/moodier sounds to develop into Jungle (later Drum 'n' Bass), while the 4x4 kicks and cheesy pianos developed into 4beat/Happy Hard- core with more of a Scottish and Dutch (Gabber) influence Since then, "Hardcore", "Hard", and "-core" have been added to the front and end of dance genres to refer to faster, wilder, and/or more aggressive forms ヽ(´ー`)ノ Reference: 2023/03/05(Sun) 15:19:29

> Now I feel like 80 is too high (;´Д`) The reason I (and many graybeards of old) use 72ch per line is cuz many terminals back in the day were 80 columns wide, which derives from the programming punch cards of early computers (the big ones that took up a whole room) Many of those early machines would only read and compile the first 72 columns of the card, and the remaining 8 columns would be used for metadata, flags to say a line was a comment, etc. When things moved to terminal displays in the 70s, writing in 72ch lines on 80 columns left you room to comment things out, add ">" s for quoting, and more ヽ(´ー`)ノ Reference: 2023/03/07(Tue) 13:28:14

Possibly a minor issue, but I don't think it works with Japanese/CJK text, which generally doesn't have spaces between words (;^Д^) Maybe it could somehow check if there were no spaces in 72 characters, then break whatever super-long string was there - perhaps with an exception for strings that start with "https/http", since you probably wouldn't want to break links

> This is might be weird but... > How I'd stop myself from masturbating? (;´Д`) Just do something else. Everyone I know who's addicted to masturbating (Including myself, sometimes) just does it because they have nothing better to do with their lives.. When I'm working on an engaging project, having fun w/ friends, or otherwise keeping myself busy, I don't think about masturbating at all, and sometimes can go up to a week without doing it. It's just something an idle mind does to keep itself stimulated. If you're trying to avoid doing it for some "NoFap" thing though, I wouldn't recommend it. Lot of effort for not much reward, unless if you really care about feeling attraction to 3D women or making productive use of your time, neither of which I would imagine the average Anonymous-san here to care about.
